Discussion Question: The writing of history is an exercise in power. The historical information taught this week is not new information; however, this historical information is rarely taught before collegiate levels of study. How can we sociologically analyze the results and reasons for not teaching this information at the K-12 level? Switching gears, how has the concept of race economically benefited the building of Corporate America?
