Describe the example and demonstrate how principles of cognitive dissonance theory can explain how contradictory decisions and behaviors are resolved. You might also consider the different routes for resolving inconsistencies presented in Gass and Seiter (2018), chapter 3.

Your paper should be three pages and written using APA formatting.
The paper will have a minimum of four paragraphs: introduction; description of a personal or commercial/advertisement illustrating a psychological inconsistency; analysis of the example in terms of principles of cognitive dissonance theory, defining the principles/concepts prior to analysis; and conclusion. The conclusion should include a reflection of the application of cognitive dissonance theory to your personal and professional lives.
Be sure to include a title page and reference page in correct APA formatting.
The Gass and Seiter (2018) text should be referenced in your paper, especially as you define principles of cognitive dissonance.
