Expectation: Initial posting demonstrates analysis of ideas and perspectives from discussion and readings, builds on ideas of others. Postings responds effectively to most but not all of the questions posed, requires additional development. Ideas supported with resources which are properly cited.
First: Write a brief summary of the two aspects from the Health Care Costs: A Primer report published by the Kaiser Family Foundation (2012) that you found most interesting or surprising and why you found them interesting or surprising. http://kff.org/health-costs/issue-brief/health-care-costs-a-primer/ Focus on the data and comparisons presented in the report and identify two aspects of this report that you found most interesting or surprising. Write down the two aspects and why you found them interesting or surprising to hand in when you get to class.
Second: Discuss the financial aspects of our current system and how the incentive and disincentives impact our choices and actions. Write a post exploring the prioritization and allocation of limited resources and relevant ethical considerations in an aspect of care you find interesting.
Provide support for your assumptions and conclusions.
