Pick a commercial or a scene from a reality TV show or sitcom. Using concepts and ideas from Chapters 3, 4, and 5, (Communication between Cultures by Samovar, Porter, McDaniel, Roy) analyze the video clip you have selected. How influential is the media in formulating perceptions of cultural differences? How do these perceptions impact our behavior? What implications do they have in real life?
