Think deeply about what are the contributions of your parents in terms of hereditary factors that you have inherited from your parents (they got a divorce when I was 10 years old yet mutual supportive of me) both positive and negative). What is the contribution of the environment (social, cultural, economic, political) to your growth and development by parents, school , society in which you grew up. Which do you think is more important..Nature or Nurture? Write giving your own and your siblings (I have a 13 year old sister) and your friends examples.

As teachers, we can provide the academic, scholastic and a socio-cultural environment in which our students can thrive. Take social cultural etc and write in detail how you would provide for such an ambience. In our classrooms, we have a heterogenous mix of students from different cultures, race, ethnicity, lingusitic proficiencies, different abilities (both Mental and Physical) and we have to teach them all with fairness and justice. Give me three ways in which you would tackle those issues with students from a different linguistic background, a student with disabilities and a first generation learner. What sort of extra help would you provide them. Vygotsky said that there should be “props” provided to the students for learning. His theory states that we should provide the props as long as students need it and then remove the props so that they can stand on their own feet. How would you ensure that? Think of the props and resources that have been provided to you by your parents, school, society without which it would be difficult for you to succeed today. What were the props that were really useful? How would you make your class a place to learn and thrive and grow.
