QSO 425 Final Project Guidelines and RubricOverviewThe final project for this course is the creation of a reverse logistics model analysis.Reverse logistics involves planning, implementing, and controlling the efficient, cost effective flow of raw materials, in-process inventory, finished goods, and related information from the point of consumption to the point of origin for the purpose of recapturing value or proper disposal. In other words, reverse logistics is about operations related to the disposal of products and materials or to their reuse in order to reclaim value. As a supply chain manager, your knowledge of reverse logistics models, their implementation, and subsequent implications to your organization will be critical as you seek ways to reduce your costswhile boosting the performance of your supply chain. In this assessment, you will demonstrate your knowledge and understanding ofthe components of reverse logistics models within organizations by utilizing approaches that analyze and provide benefits to supply chains. For this assessment, you will be asked to examine the many components of the forward logistics model of an approvedreal world organization. Based on that examination, you will then analyze the innovative practices being utilized in the reverse logistics model of the company. The project is divided into four milestones, which will be submitted at various points throughout the course to scaffold learning and ensure quality final submissions. These milestones will be submitted in Module Two, Module Three, Module Four, and Module Five, with final submission in Module Seven. In this assignment, you will demonstrate your mastery of the following course outcomes:

Assess components of forward logistics models for their transferability to reverse logistics models and for their potential to reduce cost and optimize supplychains

Assess the role of reverse logistics best practices in customer service, customer support, and customer returnsprocesses

Assess the role of reverse logistics models in minimizing organizational impact on theenvironment
