Essays must have +/- 1200 words (1100-1300)

o Times New Roman (size 12) or
o Arial, Verdana or Georgia (size 11)
• 1,5 spacing and justified text
• Format: PDF only
• First page must include: your full name and the essay title that you have chosen
Your critical essay must have three parts (do not write any subtitles inside the essay): introduction, discussion, conclusion. Do NOT write those titles. An essay has no chapters, just one single text.
• In the introduction, you have to write your research statement and what is your essay going to defend
• In the development, (two subparagraphs) you have to either develop two examples, or two authors, or arguments in favour and against…
• In the conclusion, you need to include a phrase like: ‘this essay has proved/this essay has shown/in this essay we can see that…’ and review what you have proved/dismissed/rejected
Do not forget: CITE and QUOTE using academic references. Be consistent on your referencing style. Do NOT plagiate.
