Below is the instructions from the teacher and the files are the previously submitted work that should be used in writing the literary analysis.
Professor:
Please complete a 2-3 page rough draft of your literary analysis assignment. Per the syllabus: A literary-based research paper consisting of five to seven typed pages is to be submitted at the end of the semester. Prior to this paper, various other written assignments – a topic proposal, an annotated secondary bibliography, and an outline – must also be submitted at announced dates. Topics must center on a respective writer and his/her work studied in class. Further, absolutely NO BIOGRAPHICAL nor REPORTS ON AN AUTHOR’S LITERARY CAREER will be accepted. Failure to comply with this requirement may result in your receiving an “F” for this assignment. Instead, your papers should analyze some element of a writer’s style as represented in a particular work(s). Further, textual evidence (i.e., quotes and paraphrased statements) must be incorporated from both primary and secondary sources, using MLA format, to support the student’s ideas.
