The writer must meet all the requirements stated below

For this assignment you are required to compile a 2,500-word security threat and risk assessment report for an organisational activity in which you are currently or have previously been, involved.(*a bank or an airport) any of the two in this case.

Consider the various component of threat and risk assessments and the context in which organisations need to apply security risk management processes.

As a security consultant this is a core skill and knowledge set that you will need to be able to understand and apply in your dealings with clients. You should be able to communicate that understanding and any advice, guidance and recommendations clearly and without error.

The report should cover the following subject areas:

  • An introduction, what is the reason for conducting the risk report and what methods will you use?
  • A characterisation of the organisation.
  • An analysis of threats, vulnerabilities in current controls, probability, impact and therefore risk.
  • A prioritisation for risk treatment.
  • A risk mitigation plan.
  • Recommendations for future actions in a summarising conclusion.

Note: as a consultant you are a trusted advisor; it is essential to success that your plan is rational and is suited to the organisation’s needs and priorities.

A client will expect you to have evaluated thoroughly and to be able to explain to them with confidence and clarity, the aspects of the risk landscape that will affect them – and what they should do about it.

Do not attempt to write an assignment to fit what you want to write about – you must answer the specified requirements.

Use all of the course materials, external resources and the various activities that you have conducted throughout the module to help to shape this assignment. All will be relevant to the report in some way.
