This is a reflective scholarly paper. Utilizing reflection, you will develop an understanding of Professional Nursing practice and skill development. You will provide evidence to support your reflection on nursing practice by the use of scholarly readings, skill development and competencies and resources from professional organizations. This paper will not exceed 3 pages (not including title page and references), APA formatted – Times New Roman 12p Font. Margins as per APA 6th edition.

For this paper you will focus on the following:
- Reflection written about what professional nursing practice and skill development means to you.
- Explain what evidenced based practice is and an example of what reflective nursing practice involves. Give an example of the best practices you have participated in.
- After your readings the last few weeks and your investigations of the nursing professional associations in Canada
(CNA, RNAO, RPNAO, CNO) explain how they have influenced your personal understanding of being a reflective practitioner in skill development. - Conclude your paper with a paragraph that clearly overviews the discussions you presented in your paper.
