A recurring theme in the post-midterm readings has been characters/people drawing strength from objects, spaces, or identities. Form an opinioned thesis whether it is worthwhile for the characters/people to continue drawing strength from those objects, spaces, or identities. Is it in these character/people’s best interests to continue drawing strength from those objects, spaces, or identities? Use two texts since the midterm as evidence. Explore the character/person’s intentions and/or the subsequent consequences.

You are NOT to summarize the overall content of the readings.
