Health Intervention Paper
The purpose of this assignment is for you to:
- To create your own health intervention project for the population you have chosen
- Identify the concept chosen from Healthy People 2020 that affects your designated population
- Review the scholarly literature on your selected topic. A minimum of 5 articles should be referenced that are no more than 5 years old. Interviews are appropriate for additional references but should not take the place of an article.
- Present an overview of your windshield survey in no more than 2 pages of the paper.
- Incorporate a synopsis of your interviewee’s responses from your interview paper in no more than 2 pages of the paper.
GUIDELINES
A minimal of at least 10 typed pages in APA format, those working in groups their paper should be a minimal of 15 pages: this includes the title page and reference page and a minimum of 5 references. This paper will include:
- Definition of the Healthy People 2020 health issue chosen.
- Identification and description of target population (include bio-psycho-social-cultural aspects).
- Demographics of the population.
- List needs of the population in relation to the chosen issue.
- Overview of your area from your windshield survey (taking up no more than 2 pages of the paper).
- A synopsis of your interviews with your interviewees survey (taking up no more than 2 pages of the paper).
- State why you chose this issue in relation to your population.
- Describe the evidence-based literature that provides rationale for your decision regarding the population need survey (taking up no more than 2 pages of the paper).
- Describe your health project that you developed:
- Principles guiding the specific strategies used in the project.
- Identify benefits and barriers of your health project in relation to issue chosen.
- Evaluate the impact of health project may on the population chosen.
