This paper will be no less than a two-page analysis on the Battleground Iraq book. What are some lessons learned from this memoir that can apply to junior Army officers in today’s Army? You can talk about leadership traits. The book details the stresses of combat, daily life, and corresponding emotions of a year in Iraq at the beginning of the war. Consider showing similarities between lessons learned in previous wars (highlighted in the textbook: ) to what CPT Brown witnessed in Iraq. You will be graded on the quality of how well you can articulate lessons learned and your overall takeaway analysis from the memoir. Proper grammar and cohesion will count toward the grade.
