Major essay (argumentative)
This is a 1,500 word essay/paper that answers the main question posed around the topic in global politics that was selected.
My main question is : What are the key challenges to peacekeeping and how can we address them ?
This paper must have an explicit thesis statement that indicates the argument to be put forward and should be organized to thoughtfully discuss and justify this position drawing on effective information and evidence.
It also should make explicit connections to the relevant International Relation theory.
( So it could be based off any of these or multiple of them )

This essay must use proper citations and have a works cited/ bibliography page.
Between them there must be clear references to at least 5 academic sources
beyond the class readings.
At least one of these sources must be an academic journal article and only 2 websites will be counted toward the 5 source minimum.
