This the feedback”The essay makes a good effort to explain and summarize the field of public value research in e-government. However, a critical review can be challenging if there is not enough research articles available to offer the diversity and depth of various perspectives and arguments. The essay currently develops a descriptive account of different aspects of public values in e-government projects. The next step should focus on two things: a) to build up a pool of research articles that study the public values of e-government (the current list of papers, including one lit review, does not offer a good level of confidence on the appropriateness of papers to review; b) to change the tone of review from being descriptive of the theoretical ideas to being more reflective on what has been said and proposed in the papers, what contributions they generate to the general agenda of seeking public values in e-gov, what debates/controversies are unfolding as result of different approaches and perspectives.
