Choose ONE aspect of victimisation from the list below and present your answer the following in the format of a poster: ‘A critical presentation of the experience of victims of [insert choice of crime] and barriers to dealing with such victimisation personally and in the criminal justice process’.
• gender-based violence à EITHER domestic violence OR sexual violence (NOT BOTH)
• hate crime,
• state crime,
• crimes against children and young people, or
• crimes against the elderly.
You may also wish to specify the type of victim/crime further within these categories e.g. within ‘hate crime’ you may wish to focus on a particular type of hate crime such as ‘race’ or ‘disability’ hate crime.
You will be provided with a poster template in the format of a large PowerPoint slide.
Try to make your poster visually appealing (e.g. not just lots of text) with the use of images, tables, flow charts, diagrams etc..
Remember this is still an academic piece of work that requires you to reference and provide a reference list somewhere on the poster.
