Discuss the 3 cases of Patient A, B, C separately by talking about the risks of potential diseased by analyzing the results from the case study. Include the table. Discuss the mechanism of the possible diseases associated with each patient. Always state the normal values for each case and see if the results are normal or abnormal. Speculate progressive diseases for each case.

Patient A is hypertensive and diabetic ketoacidosis, abnormal haematocrit, they have chronically albuminorea however spot urine sample may not be ideal therefore correction factor should be considered. Patient A may have cardiomyopathy, myocardial infarction, ischemia, risks of coronary vent , risks of how alcohol leads to beta dysfunction, talk about risks of obesity as diabetic patient, speak more about diabetic neuropathy, speak about atherosclerosis & thrombosis (renal issues should included) talk about risk of age and gender. Alcohol leads to pancreatic beta cell dysfunction. They are obese and have renal issues.

Patient B is a female and females have higher risk of cardiovascular disease than men. She has diabetes type 2 – discuss mechanism of insulin resistance. Person B does not smoke and no blood in the urine. Obese, have kidney damage. May be pro-diabetic. HBIAC

Patient C is female and is healthy, normal blood pressure, BMI is normal, may have low carb diet. She smokes and drinks alcohol, Blood pressure is normal she has urinary tract infection and mention antibiotics she has blood in the iron suggests little albumin.

Write about BMI of each case and mention why BMI is not the greatest indicator of obesity because of muscle and bone density. However against the big population BMI is a good indicator of obesity.
