Focus on task 2 and 3, Do not do Task 1.
Describe the learner’s strengths and weaknesses in both skills and language
Provide specific examples to support your claims.
Based on your assessment of the student through your diagnostic tasks,
• prioritise two distinct areas for the student to work on, for example, pronunciation of /θ/ and tense usage; not two areas of grammar.
• explain why you have chosen these two areas.
• explain how you would help the student improve these two areas through one:one lessons and independent study, provide specific activities (these could be from a coursebook or resource book or that you have created or adapted).
• explain why you chose these materials, make reference to Parts 1 and 2. You must use at least two sources for this section.
