General Directions:
- Pick a US immigration policy or law (the more specific the better) that has been implemented since at the 1980s or more recently, or has been advocated for but unimplemented as law or policy chose the DREAM Act of 2001
- Explain the who, what, when, why, how of the origin of the law or policy
- Use texts from a module on the syllabus to explain the dynamics of the policy or the law (if module 1 or module 2, then use at least two of the texts)
- Use texts from a different module on the syllabus to explain the dynamics of the policy or the law (if module 1 or module 2, then use at least two of the texts)
Specific directions:
Word count minimum must be 1400 words. The essay must have an introduction and conclusion, three sections for each point from the general directions, each section must have a separate heading. You must have a works cited page, and there will be point deductions for spelling and grammar mistakes and/or lack of organization.
