This is an exercise designed to provide you the opportunity to investigate a contemporary issue pertaining to climate change, environmental justice, and/or activism. Your paper should be formal, word-processed, 4-5 pages in length, and 1.5 spaced. References must be properly cited within the text and a Works Cited must appear at the end of the paper. You must consult at least five (5) sources and you must include at least three (3) in your paper.
Your paper should include the following:
An introduction describing the issue you are addressing. This informs the reader of the focus of your paper. Your thesis statement should appear in your introduction.
An analysis of the issue. This reflects your point of view. Use the Grigsby text to ground your argument. This will help you make sense of the politics involved.
A conclusion that summarizes your findings and includes a proposal as to what you think should (or could) be done to address the issue.
