Summarize what you think will be the major characteristics of what I’m calling “Globalization 5.0”, global economic, political and social interactions for the coming period, as we move through and past the pandemic.
Focus on the kinds of issues below:
• interdependency, liquidity
• Creating/relaxing barriers (to trade, people, etc.)
• Global coordination through agreements
• Intra/international institutions (like U.N., WHO, ILO, etc.)
• Managing workforces globally and across borders
• Equity and non-equity alliances, etc.
You don’t have to touch on all of these (!) but do address some. The point is that your reflections shouldn’t be too freeform.
