Formative assessment – Research Methods Summary

Write a 2,000 word summary of your research question, objectives and research methods, taking into account prior guidance tutor feedback about the suitability of your proposed focus and approach. The Research Methods summary will provide the foundation for your reflective learning statement in the final Work Based Project (see the Summative Assessment Work Based Project: Reflective Learning Statement section, below). The Research Methods Summary should address areas such as:
– Research question- with discussion of how this has been formed.
– Research objectives- with discussion of how they have been formed.
– Research methods- discussion of how you intend to conduct the study, giving particular attention to the practical details as well as any changes that you have made to the design.
– Outstanding queries- a list of any issues or queries you have at present regarding your methods. The peer review activity and discussion with your guidance tutor can be used to address and discuss these.

Upon submitting your Research Methods summary you should engage in peer review within your guidance tutor groups, providing feedback to a peer on their research focus and chosen approach of methods. You will have the opportunity to discuss this with the wider cohort and the module tutor on the discussion board following completion of this activity. Also, they need to be sent to me as two separate documents, one Part A, and the other Part B
The writer needs to read the instructions properly please, and choose a good title for part B
