Task: Written Report – two parts
Length: 1500 words in Total
Details of the task
This assessment task comprises of two parts:
Part A – Submission/Report 1000 words
Students are to write a proposal, submission/report, advocating on behalf of a group of young people/community members in relation to a specific scenario. The scenario would relate to situation where by young people/community are either being discriminated against, disadvantaged or their rights are being violated. The report will be directed at a Local/state/federal body directly relevant to the given scenario.
Students are encouraged to use the same target group and to build on the research from assessment one. However, this does not mean the same Scenario

Part B: Report – Defining advocacy; Students are to respond to the following questions:
1. What is advocacy?
2. What model is being utilised/proposed in this submission
3. How can advocacy be used to benefit young people in this situation?
