Then conduct research and choose a company that has been convicted in ethical violations.
Write a 3 to 5 page paper (approximately 900 to 1500 words) about your chosen company. Make sure your paper includes the following details:
Overview of the scandal.
Impact of the scandal (financial and other)
How was this company punished for their actions? Do you think the punishment was fair (why or why not?)?
Do you think the leaders of the organization were responsible for this scandal?
Identify some characteristics of ethical leaders and explain how those characteristics were either in play or missing from this company’s leadership.
How could the leaders have avoided this scandal? What were their ethical responsibilities and why do you think they failed at upholding them?
Based on your research of this scandal and additional research, what do you believe differentiates ethical leaders from non-ethical leaders?
What can companies and employees learn from this scandal?
