Analyse the reasons why students with specific learning difficulties may require exam access arrangements.

Examine in detail

  • the types of difficulties they may experience,
  • the underlying causes of these difficulties, and
  • the impact on their ability to manage the examination process. Critically evaluate the role played by the JCQ Access Arrangements and Reasonable Adjustments in addressing the needs of students with SpLD. Draw from your own experience to provide illustrations and examples. Include as an Appendix the completed Needs Analysis Table. Word count: 3000 words (+/- 10%) not including references or appendices.
