Write a report from the perspective of the student who is on placement. The audience for your report is the manager of the family centre. Your aim is to provide a report that will help the manager submit a bid for funding. The manager is depending on you to identify and provide evidence where the centre is effectively using learning and positive risk-taking to support children and young people’s wellbeing (2500 words)
A charity has asked local services to bid for money to enhance services that they provide for children and families. The theme they have chosen is ‘Effectively using learning and positive risk taking to support children and young people’s wellbeing’.
The report is designed to be read by the manager of the family centre who is about to make a bid for funding. The report should draw on ideas and theory presented in the KE206 module materials that relate to this theme. The manager could potentially use your report to inform their bid.
Part of the TMA will include identifying specific activities or services that are run from a family
Family centres are community contexts that provide local support to parents, carers and children. They often offer a range of targeted services across health, parenting, childcare and community learning to support diverse family needs.
For the purposes of the TMA it is suggested that you choose a fictional family centre (change the name and location etc) but base it on an example (or composite examples) from the real world
No outside references, please!
