- After reviewing several of the proposed rules I selected Extension of Grace Period Related to the “Four Walls” for Indian Health Service and Tribal Facilities. This rule is mostly about Medicare and Medicaid reimbursement for tribal facilities.
Culture is the values, customs, social structures, beliefs and patterns of human activity and the symbolic structures that provide meaning and significance to human behavior.
For non-English speaking people they are more likely to experience medial errors, misdiagnosis, incorrect treatment or poorer outcomes unfortunately due to the language barriers, misunderstandings and miscommunication (Ausmed, 2021). Aspects that should be considered are genetic differences between cultural groups that can cause different illness, beliefs, values, and cultural practices.
