The assessment is in two parts. In Part 1 – you must use relevant legal research and prepare a Research Report setting out the law, the legal sources used in the research and the likely sentence to be imposed on your client, Mr Davison. In Part 2 – you must prepare a written Plea in Mitigation for the magistrates. They will consider this document before passing any sentence on your client who has pleaded guilty to the offence.
