Choose a topic within the umbrella of victimization and conduct a literature review of peer-reviewed empirical research.
Your reactions and opinions must be supported by additional research findings and be cited accordingly. Within your paper address one of the following elements that relates to your topic:
Describe the value in understanding people’s past history of victimization. How might the past play a role in their present circumstances? You may focus on any one type of victimization or several.
Disclosing Victimization Experience: Survivors of abuse, assault and partner violence are often criticized for not coming forward.
Elaborate on some of the obstacles, emotional and practical, that these individuals face at different stages of their lives for reporting the crime, pressing charges and seeking treatment.
