1. contrast and compare different sensor techniques and sample treatment in forensic and analytical procedures;
2. evaluate the best sensors to characterize different toxics and agents of interest using suitable instrumentation;
3. criticize procedures useful from a forensic and analytical prospective and implement alternative methods;
4. design and evaluate methods for discrete and digital signal processing, including filtering of processed data;
5. assess the usefulness of materials, technologies and devices used in sensor technology for their use in Forensic and Analytical Sciences;
6. Evaluate bio/chemical and electrochemical sensors in the area of Forensic and Analytical Sciences.
