1. Describe some of the ways in which child abuse is similar to or different from elder abuse.
2. Explain the fear-crime paradox in relationship to elder abuse. What are some ways we can eliminate this paradox among the elderly community?
3. Discuss the reasons why victims of elder abuse often do not report to the police, and offer some practical suggestions for if we should, and how we can, encourage victims to report their victimization.
