Business Management
Directions: In this course, we have learned all of the processes of project management: Initiating, Planning, Executing, Monitoring/ Controlling and Closing Projects. For this Project based final you will be taking on a project of your own. (This can be a construction project, large red carpet event, a destination wedding, a business startup, or any other long term objective where you will need to apply the project management processes.) As part of the final project, you are required to prepare a proposal which outlines the major details, and to complete the forms with all the details of your project of choice from beginning to the closing process.
Project Proposal: (Selecting a Project) points/ 15 points
General Details: what you are planning to do as a final project for this class. Describe some of the work associated with this project.
Time frame: How long do you propose this project will take? When is the projected start date for this project? End date?
Cost Estimate: How much are you predicting this project will cost. You are welcome to discuss a small break down of costs, but this is not necessary at this time. Just an overall estimate of how much this project will cost will be fine. Your costs will get more defined as you progress through the project.
Project Completion Requirements: How do you know when this project is complete? What are the success criteria for this project?
