Read chapter 5 on Care of Special Populations in the ATI Review Module RN Community Health Nursing Select a journal article related to the health care needs of a vulnerable population you have selected and was As noted in the readings, examples of vulnerable populations include people: who are living in poverty; who are homeless; who have immigrated; who are in abusive relationships; who are exposed to violence; who have substance use disorders; and those who have severe mental illness, as well as others.
The article must be from a professional peer reviewed journal published within the past five years. It is highly recommended that you utilize the assistance of the reference librarian in the Warner Library if you are unfamiliar with using the research databases.
