Technique Chart Assignment Discussion
Many times a technique chart will come with the purchase of a new radiology machine, however, it may not be based on the same type of film and screens that are being used in your hospital. Perhaps the machine is older and the technique chart has long since been misplaced, “the dog ate it”, or it experienced some other fate. There are many situations where you may be asked to create a technique chart as a quick reference. The use of a technique chart will increase the chances of getting the best quality radiograph on the first exposure and prevent retakes and additional radiation exposure.
For this assignment, you will discuss the formulation of a technique chart and post to the discussion drop box.
