Find a full-text empirical (peer-reviewed) article on any concept or idea from Chapters

13- 16, and/or 18. Attach a pdf of the full-text article with your submission.

1. Write a brief summary of the article, including the primary finding(s) of the study described in the article. (1 paragraph; approximately ½ page)

2. Relate the study to concepts learned in the textbook (Chapters 13-16, 18). Put concept names from the textbook in bold font. (1 paragraph; approximately ½ page)

3. Identify a professional (e.g., HR manager, teacher) who would benefit from knowing the study’s results. Write a memo explaining the results to a group of these professionals as part of a consulting gig you’ve taken on to build your resume. Be sure to explain the results in plain language (i.e., layperson’s terms) and in ways to which the target audience can relate.

• Memo should start on a new page.

• Memo length should be ½ to ¾ of a page, double-spaced.

4. Include a References page. This should have the article that you chose, plus the textbook.
