Zine
i. Explain each takeaway/lesson (use course readings to help you explain) – At least two sources for each takeaway/lesson (use course readings).
ii. Tell your reader how this lesson has impacted you. In other words, why is it important to you?
iii. And what you think your reader should take away/learn from this lesson.
iv. Include image(s) for your takeaways/lessons (this can include hand-drawings, photos, internet memes, screen shots, images from magazines, etc)
v. Your explanation can be an essay, poem and/or a written reflection. You are expected to have a 300 word explanation for each takeaway/lesson.
III. The final page of your zine
a. Close your zine with a summation of everything you have read and done this past semester. Speak specifically to how this course has sparked growth in you as an individual and where you expect to go from here taking all the information you have received this semester.
IV. Citations
a. Citations for your essays (this can be added at the end of the zine or after each lesson – this will include the two sources for each takeaway/lesson)
b. Citations for images (this should be included under the image – the citation should include information about where you “found” the image or the artist who created the image).
