In this assignment, you will analyze a theoretical framework in a research study or dissertation and develop a 3-page paper, not including the title and reference pages, in which you analyze the theoretical framework and its purpose.

Locate a research study or dissertation that relies on a theoretical framework.

Step 2. Describe
Describe the research study or dissertation by addressing the following questions.

  • What is the topic of the study or dissertation?
  • What research design and method did the study or dissertation use?
  • What is the theoretical framework used in the study?
  • Why did the author(s) choose the particular framework? Note: Authors often justify the framework for the study.

Step 3. Reflect
Provide a brief reflection describing what you learned about theoretical frameworks.

Step 4. Submit
Submit your assignment. Be sure to include a title page, introduction, and references using current APA format.
