DI Lesson Plan Critique
Task: Write a reflection paper about how you anticipate the DI lesson plan you have created will meet the needs of the diverse set of learners I gave you. The reflection paper should demonstrate an in-depth reflection of how you differentiated instruction and provided accommodations and/or modifications for each student who struggles in the class. The reflection discusses the areas in your differentiated instruction lesson plan where you feel you could most improve. You should include any related learning theories, concepts, and/or strategies and they must be clearly described/defined and cited properly. At least four scholarly sources should be cited. Remember, any sources of information that are referred to in your paper should be referenced according to the APA guidelines. These sources must be peer reviewed articles. No websites! You may use the articles provided to you during the course. Always connect your writing to your course readings. Viewpoints and interpretations are insightful and well supported. Multiple clear and detailed examples should provided.
This paper should follow 7th edition APA guidelines (Links to an external site.). It should be no more than 5 double spaced pages in length (excluding the title page and “References” section), typed in Microsoft Word. A 12-point Times New Roman font must be used. A title page and reference page must be included. Use the first person singular (“I”) and relate the readings and classes to your previous knowledge and experience.

The critique should demonstrate an in-depth reflection of how you differentiated for each student and the accommodations/modifications you provided for those who may struggle in the class. You must address the students with ADHD, ELL, gifted, autism, and learning disabilities. Provide multiple and specific examples.
