Attribution Theory
Scenario- While working the overnight shift, you return a very poor report to an officer for corrections; the officer states, “I didn’t get any sleep yesterday. They were replacing the carpet in the apartment next to mine.” I’m going to sleep at my parent’s house today, so I will be bettcher at my report writing tomorrow.”
Assess where you would place your officer’s view of the situation on the chart: internal/external, stable/unstable, controllable/uncontrollable. Explain why you choose each piece.
