• The Increase of Socialism in the American Economy
• Why Communism Failed in the Soviet Union
• Should the United States Trade with China?
• Global Trade: Bilateral vs. Multilateral Trade Agreements.

The paper is to be persuasive; students should form a definite opinion and seek to defend their position. Students should gather facts from periodicals, pamphlets, books, etc., and incorporate this information into an 800–1,000 word paper. A minimum of 5 sources and 30 note cards should be used.
