Each group member will create at least 10 slides describing his/her part of the lesson, include artifacts, charts, etc. or use visuals in your PPt
The group is responsible for compiling the slides of all the group members into one PPt
The first slide will be the “title” slide and will have the name of the unit and the group members and the section each completed (the slide numbers of each member).

Steps to building a unit:
Choose the language function(s) you need to teach at the language level you choose.
Brainstorm the language forms that fit that function(s) at that level. (These will be in your language objectives)
Choose a topic or theme that supports the language functions being taught and create the content objectives.
Select a song, video, book or poem that supports your topic or theme.
Create a list of verbs, nouns adjectives and/or adverbs that support the theme, function and form. (Part of Building Background)
Gather pictures and activities to support your lesson.
Create a simple pre and post assessment geared toward the unit you will be teaching.
Choose several activities that will promote oral language practice throughout your theme.
Gather a writing project that will support your function, form and theme.
Find a project/activity that fits your topic and language objectives to make in class and send home for practice.
Don’t forget to create an evaluation (how you know the students meet the objectives) and expansion activities.
