Ensure you do not go over 170 words*
Question: According to the reading by Robinson, Dias, and Townley, how does the concept of “difficult knowledge” maintain the adult/child hierarchy? [Reading available in Brock’s online library].
Two things to note about Reading Responses:
- Do not paste the question into your answer as Turnitin will pick this up across the class as phrase matching and will give you a higher percentage than is accurate. No need to repeat the question or the name of the reading.
- Do you need to use APA for Reading Responses?
Answer: Only if you are quoting directly and need to include a page reference to show where the quote comes from in the reading (because this is a very short piece of writing [150-170 words], I would not recommend excessively quoting as you really want to focus on answering the question using your own words, but a snippet is okay). Otherwise, because the response is on a specific reading and we all know what that reading is, the reference is implied and you do not need to waste words with a reference list.
