You are required to produce a 2500-word strategy report based on a tourism company, which is different from the one in Assessment 1 or any other assignment you have handed in.
1.1.2 Assignment Instructions
The CEO of your organisation has asked you to prepare a report on strategic planning for one of the tourism businesses mentioned below. This plan must cover three time periods (most likely 1, 3 and 5 years – however, it can vary depending on the business selected).
The CEO expects all their staff to be involved in the process and to conduct a full external environmental analysis and to provide an examination of how well the organisation is placed to cope with the challenges ahead.
The analysis should include the following within your discussion:
1. Proposed mission and vision for your organisation.
2. Identification and critical analysis of the key stakeholders and their needs.
3. External Environmental Analysis (PEST/Scenario Planning/Competitor Analysis, etc.)
4. NOISE Analysis
5. Ansoff Matrix and an alternative strategic direction and choice
6. Recommendations for the three time periods.
Choose an organisation from the following list:
1. Tourism organisation of your choice (different from the one you used for Assessment 1 or any other assessment)
Remember that you are expected to use underpinning theory to support your arguments and to establish a critical discussion.

4 Details of Submission Procedures
4.1 Conventions for Presentation and Submission
• Your strategic report must be presented in a report format. You must include:
o A title page, a table of contents and a reference list.
o Please place these three items on a separate page each
o If you use appendices please remember they come AFTER the reference list and need to be numbered and have a name.
• The title page should contain a suitable name for your report, the module code and name, your student number and submission deadline.
• For late submission please also note if you have or are planning to apply for extenuating circumstances.
• Your table of contents need to have numbered headings and sub-headings and needs to show on what page each section starts.
• Do NOT number your table of contents and reference list (e.g. 1. Table of Contents; 7. Reference List).
• Font style: Times New Roman or Arial, Size: 12
• Allow 2.0 line spacing
• The page orientation should be ‘Portrait’ and the layout ‘Justified’.
• Pages should be numbered.
• Your student number should be included on every page.
• Please ensure that you name DOES NOT appear on the script.
