PART ONE: QUOTATION IDENTIFICATION
Using this file, beneath each quotation, identify the quotation in three ways, briefly: First, tell which work the quote is from; second, name the speaker (caution: often the same as the main person the work is about, but not always); and last, in one sentence, connect the quote to the course motif, being sure to tell HOW it fits the motif. You may also point out how the quote shows some distinct, prominent feature of that work or person, if that is what stands out the most to you. You are not just paraphrasing the quote. Your response to each quote should not be longer than three sentences.
