Ulysses S. Grant
-Students research and analyze a leader applying theories and leadership approaches covered in the course. Sources may include material presented in films, biographies, autobiographies, interviews, and news articles, but must also include at least two peer-reviewed academic journal articles.
-Leader topics must be submitted and approved by the professor
-The paper must be 6 pages of content, double spaced, Times New Roman, and written following APA guidelines with a separate title, table of contents, section headers, and reference page (the cover page, table of contents, and references section do not count toward the 6 pages of content).
-The assignment requires analysis (synthesis, application, and evaluation), not just reporting and regurgitating information. Students should use different theories and approaches to leadership to analyze and evaluate the effectiveness of the selected leader.
