Clinical Cultural Paper (10% of total grade)
Choose a topic related to cultural diversity in the health setting. Topic suggestions include; language barriers, communication styles, mental health, racial and ethnic minorities, LBGTQ, diverse children and their families, or a topic choice of your interest. Have your topic approved by your clinical instructor no later than week 4 (cannot be same topic at clinical peer, first come first serve). Use at least 1 peer reviewed journal resource (no older than 5 years).
This assignment includes a 1-2-page paper, and a 5-minute presentation to your clinical group during post conference (summary of your paper). See rubric below for specifics.
The paper must be submitted to canvas by 1159 prior to your clinical day for full credit. If paper is 1minute-24 hours late 20% will be deducted. After 24 hours the paper will not be accepted for credit and the student will receive a zero.
