Jazz tradition
Now that you’ve developed a broader understanding of the jazz tradition,S share with your classmates some links to jazz music that you’ve discovered. We’ve not yet studied jazz in the 1960s and beyond, but if you’re familiar with any of this music, you can post links to it as well.
For your initial post, include 2 links to any online source of jazz music (YouTube is a great resource for both video and audio-only links). Tell us the title of the song/piece, and the name of the lead musician (and the name of the band, if appropriate). Then, explain why you find each song interesting. If you post more than 2 links, you’ll likely receive extra credit points.
For this forum, you are required to submit posts on at least two different days, and complete two elements:
- First, submit your initial post to the forum by Friday, by copying or typing directly into the Reply box, which you’ll find below these instructions (just be. Be sure to always click the Post Reply button when you’re done.
- Then submit at least 2 response posts. You’ll find the threaded posts of your classmates by scrolling to the bottom of this page. You can reply to a comment already posted by another student by clicking in the reply field below their post.
If you choose to submit more than 2 response posts, you may receive extra credit.
