Change Recommendation
By this time, we have spent time covering how to identify change opportunities that companies face and how to go about making change. For this submission, you will be asked to:
You are writing this from the perspective of a manager / leader
Identify a change opportunity.
Describe why you think this change should be made.
Recommend how to implement this change using the “Rider, Elephant, and Shape the Path” framework that’s covered in “Switch: How to Make Change When Change Is Hard” and discussed in class.
Given specific things you’ve learned about your company and the change that you’re recommending, how would you appeal to the “riders” and the “elephants”? What about “scripting the path”?
The change recommendation should be realistic / grounded in reality, but feel free to also be creative and have fun with this.
