DH 226 State Comparisons Group Presentation

 The class will be divided into groups to present a comparison of dental hygiene scope of practice and dental hygiene care of assigned states.  The presentation must be 10- 15 minutes and include a minimum of a two (2) page paper to be turned in as part of the grade.  Students are encouraged to be creative and have fun with this presentation.  If the presentation is recorded, you may use your choice of media, as allowed by the instructor. Each group will compare their state with another state, assigned by the instructor.

 Mechanics of State Comparisons Paper (also refer to rubric):

• APA format
• Paper should have a cover page that has the:
• Title of the presentation
• Title of the class
• Date
• Group members’ names
• Minimum of 2 pages (not including cover page and reference page)
• Reference page with at least 3 credible references

Dental Hygiene Scope of Practice/Care: In the presentation and the paper, describe how each category, if applicable, is different or similar in each state.
