Oral Communication Spring Term 2023

Description
INSTRUCTIONS: Choose one of the following films to watch on your own time. Make notes as you watch that relate back to the chapters we have explored as a class.

Based on the movie, try to answer the following questions:

  • How did conflict form between two characters?
  • What were the coming apart/together stages that you witnessed?
  • How to intercultural competency improve over time between two or more characters?
  • Did characters communicate through face-to-face or mediated channels?
  • How did social media impact a character and their relationships with others?
  • Did characters work effectively in a small group?
  • How did characters solve problems with others?

These questions are meant to guide you through your analysis of the film. Do not feel the need to limit yourself to only answering these questions. Explore the film and tie it back to the concepts and theories we explored all semester.
